Before you start

Everyone 18 or older who will live in the apartment fills in their own application. Have four recent pay stubs and a photo ID ready for each applicant; you’ll bring them to the leasing office with the $20 application fee, paid by money order.

Once your application is complete, decisions take up to four days. Leases run 12 to 24 months, the security deposit is one month’s rent, and residents must carry renters insurance — your own policy, or the property’s plan for $20 a month.

Carriage House Apartments — Rental Application

Bring four recent pay stubs to the office — two if you’re paid bi-weekly, four if you’re paid weekly. If you’re self-employed or paid on commission, a letter from your accountant works instead.

Tenant screening. By submitting this application you authorize Carriage House Apartments and its agents to obtain a consumer report, tenant screening report, credit report and rental history in connection with this application, and to verify the employment, income, residence and references given above. Reports may be obtained from consumer reporting agencies including the National Tenant Network, Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. If your application is denied in whole or in part on the basis of information in such a report, you will be told which agency supplied it and you have the right to obtain a free copy of that report from the agency and to dispute its accuracy.

Application fee. A non-refundable application fee of $20 per adult applicant is due by money order. Cash is not accepted. The fee is not a deposit and does not hold an apartment.

Accuracy. I warrant that the statements in this application are true and complete, and I understand that any false statement may be grounds for rejection of this application or termination of a lease later signed.
